Non-Toxic Formula
Unlike many broad-spectrum antimicrobial products, Tylon Topcoat® requires no metallic compounds, such as silver, which can have toxic and potentially carcinogenic side-effects. Our coating, which utilizes the same organic antimicrobial as used in hospital cleaners, permanently adheres to surfaces, providing long-lasting protection from pathogens.
Environmentally Friendly
Heavy metal-containing coatings have been disastrous to our environment, especially our oceans. Regulatory bodies are keen to ban their use entirely. Tylon Topcoat® provides a safe and environmentally benign alternative to metal-based antimicrobial.
Durable
The majority of organic antimicrobial films are weak or easily washed away. Those that are not are expensive or very difficult to apply. Tylon Topcoat® is extremely robust without any toxic chemicals and simple to apply to nearly any surface, making it an ideal topcoat in even the most demanding applications.
Versatile
Tylon Topcoat® can be easily applied to nearly any surface through either a brush or a spray system. It can be rendered nearly permanent by applying a simple, extremely safe curing solution to the surface after application. The unique molecular architecture of our patented formula enables adhesion to surfaces that are traditionally difficult to coat.
Extreme Barrier
While Tylon Topcoat® is hailed for its revolutionary antimicrobial properties, it also works as an excellent protective barrier to underlying surfaces. It is impermeable to most gases and extremely resistant to acids and organic solvents, protecting underlying surfaces from corrosion, chemicals and physical abrasion.
Low Cost

Tylon QuickSpray®
Tylon Topcoat® is most durable when applied at the manufacturing stage. However, in order to combat the growing COVID-19 pandemic, our team has developed a spray solution that can be quickly and easily applied to nearly any surface or object. A second step curing spray gives the coating long-lasting antiviral protection. However, this formula does wash off with certain cleaning products, such as bleach, so reapplication is recommended on high traffic surfaces which require frequent deep sanitation.
